Third Party Insurance Cover
Wednesday, 19 August 2009 17:48
Third party insurance is the cheapest form of Car insurance. It essentially allows the other person, or third party, to claim compensation from you if you damage their vehicle or themselves in an accident.

Third party cover is for someone owns a car that they no longer owe anything on and feels it’s not worth rescuing. The payouts take the form of medical or legal costs should you be liable. 3rd party insurance also covers additional costs such as the towing of your vehicle.

It is important to note that although third party insurance will cover you against damage to a third party; this is restricted by a set list of limitations. These limitations include driving under the influence, driving without a license, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a vehicle that is unroadworthy and if your vehicle is used without your consent.
