Santam insurance personal liabilitySantam’s short-term insurance products can include personal legal liability up to the value of R20 million. The personal legal liability protects the insured from claims made by third parties for personal injury and damages. On top of that, 24-hour legal advice is available to insureds with cover up to R100 000 for legal costs related to civil action and cases involved in a labour court.
Santam insurance death benefit and personal accidentThe company’s short-term insurance products may also include a death benefit plan, which is underwritten for between R3 000 and R10 000. The personal accident cover provides cover for death or injury following a car accident from between R50 000 and R5 million according to the age of the insured.
