Despite being one of the country’s leading commercial lines and life insurers, Regent expanded it’s product portfolio to include personal lines insurance, such as car and home insurance. More than just comprehensive insurance, Regent car insurance includes credit shortfall insurance, specialist insurance for high-value vehicles, paint and dent cover as well as car hire.
Regent car insurance Adcover Credit ShortfallA specialist insurance policy to make sure you never default on a payment of your financed vehicle, Regent’s Adcover Credit Shortfall will make sure your financier gets paid. In the event that you have an accident (and the vehicle is written off), and your insurer rejects your claim, the Adcover will pay the bank. If you fail to notify your insurer of damage to or loss of your vehicle within 30 days, the cover comes into play as it does should your insurer not pay out the full amount of what is owed should the vehicle be written off.
Regent car insurance Majestic Motor InsuranceFor those vehicles of particularly high value, Regent offer specialist Majestic Motor Insurance. Ordinary comprehensive insurance policies fail to adequately cover vehicles valued between R800,000 and R5 million. For this reason Regent offer their specialist car insurance which not only includes damage, theft, hijacking, fire, third-party damage and car hire, but also a deposit cover (up to R200,000) personal accident cover and new for old (for 12 months); which guarantees a new vehicle to replace your old one instead of paying out market value.
Regent car insurance Motor ComprehensiveRegent’s comprehensive car insurance covers all standard and executive vehicles as well as caravans, trailers and motorcycles. The cover includes vehicles used for business. All their car insurance products can include a car hire option, should an accident or theft leave you without a vehicle.
Regent car insurance Paint TechCovering minor dents, chips and scratches, the Paint Tech product ensures that you don’t harm your claim history or pay out your own pocket for minor bumps. The cover can be taken out for vehicles whose mass does not exceed 3,500 kg, and vehicles used for private use. (This cover is not for caravans, trailers, motorcycles, motor homes or watercraft.)
Dealing direct with the public, you can take out a Regent car insurance policy by contacting them via their website.
